A passenger-focused Tesla interface could put entertainment within easier reach during a driverless ride. An alleged interface image, however, does not establish that owners may watch video while using FSD.
The alleged screen image’s provenance, intended vehicle, software version and operating conditions have not been verified through a primary source.
Entertainment controls do not establish driving permissions
Music controls, a video app icon and permission to play video while moving are different things. A still image cannot show which functions are enabled, whether the car is parked, or whether it belongs to a passenger service.
Tesla’s Robotaxi documentation describes passenger climate and entertainment controls, including music streaming. It does not establish that an owner’s Model 3 or Model Y has the same interface or permissions.
Keep the owner and passenger roles separate
For personally owned vehicles using FSD (Supervised), Tesla requires active driver supervision. A software name or changed screen layout does not remove that responsibility.
Use entertainment only in the circumstances permitted by your vehicle’s manual and on-screen controls. Treat a future interface announcement as useful only when Tesla explains who can use it, in which vehicle and under what conditions.
