A Tesla Model 3’s advertised price is only the starting point. For a useful Canadian comparison, check the exact configuration and the final delivered total in your province, then compare cash and financing separately.
Check the current configuration
Open Tesla’s Canadian configurator and select your province, available trim, wheels, paint and any paid features. Save the dated price breakdown you are actually considering. Model names, available versions and prices can change; an older article’s headline price is not a current quote.
Separate the vehicle price from estimated savings
- Cash cost: vehicle and options, required fees, applicable taxes and registration, less incentives you qualify for.
- Financing: down payment, interest rate, term and total borrowing cost—not just the monthly payment.
- Ownership: insurance, charging, winter tires and any home electrical work.
Estimated fuel savings are a comparison assumption, not money deducted from the purchase invoice. Treat trade-in proceeds separately when comparing two vehicle offers.
Check eligibility before ordering
Do not assume a vehicle qualifies for an incentive because a similar trim did previously. Confirm the current vehicle list, buyer conditions, dates and available funding. Our Canada EVAP funding tracker explains what to verify.
For purchase steps and delivery timing, use Tesla’s Canadian ordering guidance. If you decide to order, check the benefit shown through our Tesla referral link before paying. Availability and terms depend on the order.
Compare the final vehicle offer with your own EV running-cost estimate. A clear total is more useful than a price headline that leaves out how you will buy and use the car.
Budget optional equipment separately: a suitable home charger and a Model 3 spare-tire kit are examples. Confirm connector, installation and vehicle fit before adding them to your purchase total.
